What is a full spectrum Hemp Oil and why should it be extracted from the flower?

Full spectrum Hemp oil should contain more than one cannabinoid (CBD, CBC, CBG, CBN, THC) as well as Terpenes and Flavonoids. The highest concentrations of these components are found in the flower of the plant

Full Spectrum vs. Broad Spectrum vs. Isolate

Full Spectrum Hemp Oil should contain more than one cannabinoid (CBD, CBC, CBG, CBN, THC) as well as Terpenes and Flavonoids

Broad Spectrum Hemp Oil should be a Full Spectrum Hemp Oil without the THC.

CBD Isolate Hemp Oil will contain only the Cannabidiol (CBD) cannabinoid, hence the name isolate. Because, the isolate only contains Cannabidiol it will normally need to be dosed 10 times higher than a full spectrum Hemp Oil.

How Can I Tell the Difference?

The only way an individual can know what type of product they are being sold is to receive a certificate of Analysis from an independent lab that will show the contents of the product and be specific to the Lot number on the bottle that is sold. The Certificate of Analysis should show the amount of all Cannabinoids and Terpenes contained in the product. A quality Hemp Oil will also be tested for Pesticides, Microbials, Mycotoxins, Heavy Metals, Foreign Matter, and Solvents.
