I have known and worked closely with Robert Moore for at least 10 years. He is without doubt the most progressive, forward thinking pharmacist that I have ever worked with. As a Stage IV colon cancer patient, I am in the fight of my life. And now, more than ever before, I am realizing the importance of nutrition and wellness in fighting this battle and improving my overall health and well-being. Robert Moore, R.Ph., is playing an integral part in that effort.
 
When I was diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2007 at the age of 46, the news came as a complete shock to me and my family and friends. Prior to my diagnosis, I looked to be the picture of health, but apparently that wasn't the case. Over the last 2 and 1/2 years, I have undergone four major surgeries and completed 28 rounds of chemotherapy, as well as a clinical trial for an experimental drug. Unfortunately, the conventional therapies have not worked and the chemo has left me with permanent side effects.
 
In March 2010 I was promoting Colon Cancer Awareness Month and an article about my personal experience with colon cancer appeared in the local newspaper. Robert Moore read the article and contacted me, telling me that he wanted to help in any way he could.
 
I have to admit I was a bit taken aback by his offer, but I had seen commercials for Moore's Compounding Pharmacy and I was curious, so I decided to hear him out. Since our first meeting in April, Robert has been extremely helpful in educating me about the importance of nutrition, including giving me specific recommendations on vitamins, supplements, and healthy foods to eat.
 
He has also provided information about several alternative cancer therapies, some of which I have already begun. I had not heard of most of these natural, non-toxic therapies, but now I am amazed at the amount of information that is available about alternative treatments.
 
Despite my cancer diagnosis--or more accurately, as a result of it--I am taking more vitamins and eating more healthfully than ever before. Even though I have heard and read many things about holistic approaches to disease prevention and treatment, I did not fully embrace those ideas until the last few months. And that is due in large part to Robert's credibility as a pharmacist and a practitioner of healthy living. Another important aspect has been Robert's genuine compassion and concern for his patients.
 
Robert has been very helpful to me and I am grateful. I look forward to many healthy years to come!

As part of our family's pursuit of optimal health, Robert Moore has been educating and advising our family for several years.  Our experience with traditional medical practices has been one of quick prescription fixes, little explanation of diagnosis and no education on prevention. 
 
Robert stands out as a leader and advocate of preventative and alternative health care.  In a day when health care costs are rising, it only makes sense to gain knowledge of what we as individuals can do to take care of our bodies in order to prevent disease.

I have been using bio identical hormone meds from Moore’s Pharmacy for 3 years and feel fantastic!! Robert has worked with me with blood testing and saliva testing to get me the right dosages of bio meds for my post menopause issues. I sleep great, feel great, and have lots of energy! I recently had my husband take a saliva test with Moore’s Pharmacy and we found out he was low on Testosterone. Robert has him on a dose of testosterone to replace what his body is not producing and he already is feeling better!! Thank you Robert Moore and the staff at Moore’s Pharmacy!

While vacationing in the Corpus Christi area during the month of February we saw a television ad for Moore's Compounding Pharmacy and decided to look into it. After meeting with Mr. Moore for approximately two hours and going over my blood work results, I agreed to take a saliva test that he suggested.  I am suffering from hot flashes, sluggishness, mood swings and hair loss, and this test would help in my diagnosis.
 
After all results were in, he proposed a three month trial program of medication and supplements which I started six weeks ago. During the first three weeks I felt no changes, but during the fourth week I noticed positive changes occurring.
 
Now that I am at the six week mark my hot flashes have decreased from an average of eight per day down to two or three per day. The intensity of the flashes has decreased by fifty percent or better. My energy level is much higher now and my mood swings have also lessened and don't last as long. I have not seen any improvement in the amount of hair loss at this point, but am still hopeful.
 
Moore's program, along with my doctor’s participation and a five day a week exercise program, have made me feel much, much better. We will be retesting my blood and saliva in the next several weeks and make adjustments as necessary.
 
 As my results to date have been very, very good, I will consider  extending the trial  after seeing the results from a retest of blood and saliva and expect to see further improvements in the near future.
